Product overview
2024 KB6011 X/γ radiation detector — thank you for purchasing a genuine unit.

2024 model highlights
The KB6011 received a complete PCB redesign. Electrical performance is significantly improved, while the new layout leaves room for future sensor upgrades.
- Integrated inductive boost converter: the transformer has been removed. An integrated inductor provides better parameter consistency than a wound transformer, allowing the voltage-management circuit to regulate the Geiger tube more precisely.
- True high-dynamic-range response: the new architecture reduces anode-voltage dead-time recovery from 400 µs to 50 µs, supporting sensitive Geiger tubes with shorter dead times.
- Updated manufacturing process: higher-Tg laminate and RoHS-compliant halogen-free, lead-free processing deliver a more refined board.
- Flexible connectors: the slide-out display is replaceable without soldering. Production Geiger tubes also use plug-in connectors for easier replacement.
- USB-C and ongoing firmware upgrades: the built-in CH340E serial chip allows firmware updates over USB, keeping future upgrades straightforward.
